2016 Honda NSX is here to challenge supercars and sports car from the European bandwagon as it has the Legendary name to live upto

Honda NSX after being endlessly teased for the last 3-4 years with various technology sessions, teasing footage of it driving on the track, catching fire on the Nurburgring after a crash and many more things, the 2016 Honda NSX Production Version has been unveiled and given for test rides just before the Tokyo Motor Show.

2016 Honda NSX has received great response and production ready disguise it does, look as if it’s time ahead thanks to ultra futuristic front end, a very supercar side profile and very large and captivating rear-end with massive width and track. Interior is like a typical Honda or let’s call it Acura.

Very simple, buttons come from the same parts bin and it isn’t as flashy as it should despite the fact red color has been used for press shots. It’s a driver focused to easy to look around and out of the car with minimum distraction.

2016 Honda NSX Engine is powered by a V6, 3493cc, twin-turbo, petrol, engine which is mated to 3 electric motors. The motor ends up making power of upto 500 BHP at 7500 RPM when in gasoline mode. 550 Nm of torque that this four wheel drive electric hybrid car makes.

The electric motor helps make 73 BHP more from the car which takes the total to 573 BHP. All the power is being put down by bespoke, hand made by Honda 9-speed dual-clutch automatic which will make to normal cars in the entire range through the world, step by step

0-100 km/hr takes 2.9sec, which is very, very fast indeed and should give tough time to its rivals. Honda has rated the top speed of the car 191mph aka 307 km/hr. Honda NSX Kerb weight stands at quite high of 1725kg despite the massive use of aluminum.

Nissan GTR, Audi R8, Ford GT and Porsche 911 and many more competitors lie in front of the NSX let’s wait for a test to commence and see how well the NSX brand lives up to the name.
