Honda Dream Neo 110cc launched with fresh look; no increase
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. has launched the all new restyled 110 cc 2016 Dream Neo with fresh look and design as their fifth model for the year. It gets three new colour options, stylish and vibrant body graphics, chrome plated muffler protector, new 3D emblem at the 8 litre fuel tank; and all of these at no extra cost.
The three new colour options are Black with Blue stripes, Imperial Red Metallic and Geny Grey Metallic. Alongside the bike is available in the existing Black with Red stripes. No mechanical change has been made although.
Launched in 2013 Honda Dream Neo has sold more than 4 lakh units in India. It is certainly the best fuel efficient commuter bike in the segment with a figure of 74 kmpl. The refreshed Honda Dream Neo bears a price tag of Rs. 49070 (ex showroom, Delhi).
Speaking about the design, the Honda Dream Neo is no eye catcher, but a simple and mature practical commuter 110 cc bike. It shares the same design philosophy with the Honda Dream Yuga and Honda CB Shine. It sports a small angular trapezoidal headlamp. The fairing surrounding the headlamp is simple and neat. The instrument cluster doesn’t boast anything worthy to get excited about, but it is practical and simple with the twin pod analog cluster.
The engine, mechanical area and the alloy wheels are blackened. Dimensionally, the bike stands with 2009 mm of length, 737 mm of width, 1074 mm of height and 1258 mm of wheelbase. The ground clearance comes at 179 mm.
Delivering the power to the bike is the 109.19 cc displacing air cooled 4 stroke engine, which comes equipped with Honda Eco Technology (HET) and paired to a 4 speed gearbox. The powertrain generates 8.25 bhp peak power at 7500 rpm and 8.63 Nm peak torque at 5500 rpm. Incidentally, this same engine delivers power to the Honda Dream Yuga and Honda CD110 Dream.
