Tata Bolt Sports Limited Edition Unveiled in India at 2016 Delhi Auto Expo

Tata Motors showcased the performance-based version of the Bolt hatchback at the ongoing Auto Expo 2016 after making global premiere at the Geneva Motor Show last year. The Tata Bolt Sport announces the first hot hatch made by an Indian manufacturer and gets propelled by the 1.2-litre turbocharged Revotron petrol motor found in the Zest sedan and regular version of the Bolt hatchback.

However, it’s not just a conventional engine as the ECU has been remapped and exhaust beefed up helping the performance-tuned motor to make out a maximum power output of 120 bhp at 5,500 rpm and 170 Nm of peak torque between 2,000 rpm and 3,000 rpm. Power is transferred to the front wheels through a five-speed manual gearbox and the Bolt Sport sits on a newly designed 17-inch sporty alloy wheels with larger disc brakes and has stiffer suspension setting.
