Suzuki’s stall is the most happening stall when it comes entry-level and premium motorcycles which will be seen on the streets soon. All models have been revised thoroughly and two of them are the highly important models to the enthusiast in the market. The Gixxer series has taken the market by storm.
The brand has gained cult following instantly with its naked and faired motorcycle. The bikes are brilliant in every single way. The performance has been highly praised, the chassis is really good and comfort and value for money package is amazing indeed which has attracted 10,000 customers every month.
To keep that going and keep up with the competition. Suzuki has introduced Gixxer and Gixxer SF Rear Disc Variant. Recently, the Gixxer series saw serious threat from the Honda Hornet CB160R. The motorcycles come with petal disc on both ends and the rear disc is option. Suzuki has done the same too. The variant is demand as the customers demanded disc brakes at the rear for their sporty motorcycles. Suzuki has equipped the motorcycle with a 220 mm disc at the rear. Front disc continues to be the same which is around the 260 mm mark.
Everything else remains the same on the motorcycle. The engine continues be the 155cc SEP engine which makes 14.8 BHP of power and 14 Nm of torque. SF gets fuel injection and should reduce emissions and increase fuel efficiency by a huge margin. Kerb weight has increase slightly by 1 kg. Expect a launch later this year and price at a premium of RS. 3000 extra over the rear drum variant. The Suzuki Gixxer now continues to fight the FZ and Hornet and now it is set to fight the Mahindra and Bajaj 150/160 cc motorcycles that are set to come in soon.
