Honda CX-02 Concept is a adventure naked motorcycle with a 400-500cc engine that will never see the daylight, but its fantastic!
Honda has done it again when it comes to Concept models. Honda had promised multiple concept models for the Auto Expo 2016. This time around it is yet asgain a semi-naked motorcycle that has been shown as concept with endless premium touches along futuristic items that have been fitted on the motorcycle like the past. The motorcycle is known as the CX-02 concept. Yes, last time it was called as the CX-01 and this time, Honda has taken a step further in every single way.
The concept has panels in numerous amount which are attached to each other which gives the bike a futuristic appeal. The front end has a beak which reminds us of adventure motorcycles but there isn’t bikini fairing on the sides which makes it a concept with no destination which concepts are mostly about. The tyres seen on the CX-02 are chunky and also replicate this could be the naked off-roading motorcycle that we actually need and can see demand for if in the right cubic capacity.
Futuristic LED lights continue to be the highlight of Honda motorcycles that are shown in the concept version of the past. Mechanically it uses the same truss frame that we have seen in motorcycles like the CBR 250R. There isn’t any single details on the numbers and engine that has been used. However, we can see it’s a parallel twin engine which could displace around 400-500cc.
Suspension wise we see upside down forks at the front and rear has a monoshock. The muffler which we see is the same seen on CBR 150R and Hornet 160R. However, this concept gets carbon fibre on top of it with red accents for the exhaust barrels to make it look better. Last time when Honda showcased the CX-01 it turned to be nothing in real life.
However, there were cues that were used from it to make the new motorcycle called the Hornet. The meters, the hande guards, the LED turn indicators and LED headlamps completes of what a concept should be, However we hope Honda gets most of these things in their new upcoming powerful motorcycle.
