BMW revealed its high-performance special edition M4, called M4 GTS
The new 2016 BMW M4 GTS announced at the Tokyo Motor Show giving the brand a new identity in exclusive technological masterpiece, enhancing the BMW M4 Coupe to an all new level. The GTS looks like the purest form of track car, with that said the GTS is raised with powerful, motorsport-inspired looks and high-performance technology, also equipped the road.
The production of the BMW M4 GTS is just limited to 700 units worldwide, with 300 units will go on sale for the first time in the US market and 50 of which will find its way to Canada, unsure if a designated number is available to the Asian continent, specifically India, which is a potential market for BMW.
The GTS gets over the stock M4 with a difference of 68 hp and 36 lb-ft, with the GTS now making a massive 493 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque with the 3.0-litre turbocharged inline-six engine. Thanks to the Water Injection System, which increases power and torque, and a substantial improvement in efficiency, it is also the first production road car with this feature.
To keep it simple, the water is injected into the intake manifold plenum chamber where it evaporates, significantly lowering the temperature of the intake air. Which reduces the final compression temperature in the combustion chamber, minimizes the risk of knock and allows the turbocharged engine to operate with higher boost pressure and advanced spark timing. 
The GTS also has gone through a lot of weight reduction, almost 200 pounds has been removed from the car using carbon fiber-reinforced materials. At the interior, rear seats are also taken-off, quite a lot of interior pieces have also been reworked on lighter materials. The interior is also equipped with roll bar, which is visible from the outside and is in Acid Orange paint. The roll bar gives the car sense of purpose and racing intent.
