Benelli is on a roll. They just promised the world 5 new motorcycles and four of them are coming to India. Two 500cc motorcycles in two very potent forms and one of them is this, the 2016 Benelli TRK 502. The Adventure bike seem very promising on paper. It is being called all-new and share very basic mechanical package with its stable mates and will offer endless options as a versatile bike to the Indian motorcycling enthusiasts.
2016 Benelli TRK 502 comes with an inline twin-cylinder, 4-valves per cylinder, 499cc engine that churns out 47.6 HP of power and 45 Nm of torque at fairly low RPMS!. The engine comes at surprisingly large 4-litre engine oil capacity. To meet emission regulations: FI, three throttle bodies and an exhaust system that has a catalytic converter and oxygen sensor have been fitted.
2016 Benelli TRK 502 comes with a twin tube steel tube frame. The front suspension is a 50 mm USD fork and the travel stands at 150 mm. The rear suspension comes mounted directly on the swingarm and the travel is 144 mm, something that is important to note about in adventure motorcycles.
For the European spec, 2016 Benelli TRK 502 comes with ABS as standard. Brakes are 320 mm disc at the front and 260 mm discs at the rear. 2016 Benelli TRK 502 will come standard with 17-inch wheels. However, the motorcycle will be offered with 19-inch wheels that will be optional.
