2015 Honda Jazz launched in India, comes feature loaded and is definitely the most spacious in this segment.
Honda Jazz finally comes back to India as the third generation model. Honda says they will be launching more products in the compact sedan and the BRV SUV likely the next brand new product from Honda. Honda is aggressive with its plan in India as it finally has a diesel engine it can use in almost any compact product. New launches will help the brand to boost sales in India, as India is the 4th largest market for Honda in world .
The 2015 Honda Jazz is complete evolution in terms of design and is total revolution when it comes to Interior designing concept based on “Sophisticated Futuristic Cockpit”. The dashboard has been lifted from the posh Honda City and it has the same layout and feature options as the Honda City. 5-inch touchscreen is also added to the kit.
The 2015 Honda Jazz in terms of space is class leading by space increasing the cabin, both in front and rear by 130% as this includes the boot space as well. Jazz will be available in five variants E, S, SV, V & VX. The Honda Jazz will also be available with 30 accessory options to allow buyers to personalize the car.

The 2015 Honda Jazz offers with the enhanced Magic Seat offering 4-Mode configurations.
•Utility mode – with the Magic Seat folded flat, for carrying two passengers and larger items, like a bike with the front wheel removed;
•Tall mode – with the Magic Seat folded up, for carrying two or three passengers and tall items like a houseplant in the second row;
•Long mode – with the Magic Seat folded flat and the front passenger seat reclined all the way back, for carrying two passengers and a very long item like a surfboard;
•Refresh mode – with the front seat reclined all the way back, for relaxing.
The Magic Seat further enhances comfort for rear passengers with the reclining rear seats and adjustable rear headrests helping make long drives both relaxing and enjoyable.
Mechanically, the car chassis geometry has been changed completely. The suspension has been the same but revision to spring and damping rates has been done. Ground clearance has been improved, NVH levels have been decreased by putting insulation everywhere. Diesel engine will continue to get 100 BHP and 200 Nm.
Petrol engines continues to be same as well which is the 1.2 Petrol I-Vtec engine which comes with 90 BHP of power and 112 Nm of torque. Petrol engine is also mated to CVT gearbox which also comes with paddle shifts on the steering wheels. Jazz’s ARAI-tested fuel economy for the Petrol manual is 18.7km/l, Petrol automatic is 19 km/l and the Diesel manual claims to return 27km/l.
Safety wise Honda has done a good job again by providing ABS and EBD as standard for base variant of the 2015 Honda Jazz equipped with diesel engine. Mid variant onwards the petrol and diesel engines will get ABS and EBD as standard. Honda also claims to have lowest running cost for the Jazz. Dual airbags has been seen only on the top variant. Honda clearly targets youths of the country with the new Jazz and claims that they want everything, even with their new TV commercial.
