Honda Activa-i And Aviator Launched In India with cosmetic changes for the year 2015
As expected Honda has launched refreshed version of their not so popular scooter such as the Activa-I and Aviator in the country today. Honda Activa-i gets the most changes here with a deluxe variant coming in at just a premium of Rs. 500/-. The Activa-I continues to be mechanically the same just like the Aviator. Both the have HET equipped engines which is the 109cc CVT motor that produces 8 BHP of power and 8.77 Nm of torque. The Honda Activa I comes with four new colors such as Black (New), Pearl Amazing White, Autumn Beige Metallic and Alpha Red Metallic. Meanwhile the Honda Aviator comes with Silver Strand Metallic (New) in addition to the existing three refreshing shades – Rebel Red Metallic, Pearl Sunbeam White and Pearl Ingenious Black.

The Activa i gets refreshed floral graphics on them along with the new color as Honda says the target audience is young generation ladies. The Activa i also gets new rear fender cover for the rear tyre and gloss black finish on the exhaust. Purple colored floorboard and entire plastic panel have been chosen by Honda to woo the ladies. The Activa i now clearly targets its sibling rival the Hero Pleasure.
This is one of the reason why Taapsee Pannu, am actress from the south film industry has become the new face for promoting scooters for Honda India. The Honda Aviator along with color continues to get disc brake option which the Activa i does not. Disc brakes are being offered only the Honda Activa 125cc and Honda Aviator as of now. Honda aims to refresh all its models by festive season and wait for the numbers to flow in as new launches are all set for this year which should happen before March 2016.
