Hero Xtreme Sport 2015 launched with increased power, split seats, tweaked headlight and tail-lamp
Hero is keeping intact with its aggressive new products policy by launching all the promised products that were showcased at Auto Expo. The world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer today introduced Hero Xtreme Sports. The sportier and more powerful version of the 150-cc motorcycle Hero Xtreme. The last launch from Hero MotoCorp was the new Passion Pro that was across markets in the country. The Hero Xtreme Sport was first showcased at the Auto Expo 2014 in Delhi.
The Hero Xtreme Sport offers evolutionary design overhaul over the normal Xtreme motorcycle. The styling is slightly stripped out and sharper than its young sibling. Hero Xtreme Sport comes with an aerodynamic visor, new wolf-eye headlamp with aggressive Twin LED Pilot Lamps and winkers at the side. The Hero Xtreme Sport gets split step-up seat, new exhaust heat shield. The Hero Xtreme Sport also comes with LED tail lamp in conjunction with split grab rail. The all new digital-analog console comes with side stand indicator.
The Hero Xtreme Sport is powered by a 149.2cc air-cooled, 4-stroke single cylinder engine, producing a maximum power output of 15.6 BHP @8500 rpm and maximum torque of 13.5 Nm @ 7000 rpm. The new Xtreme Sports reaches from 0-60 km/h in a mere 4.7seconds. All these numbers are claimed by Hero MotorCorp. Hero Xtreme Sport comes with tubeless and wider tyres than before.
The 240 mm front and 220 mm rear disc are a standard feature on the Hero Xtreme Sport. The bike is available in five body colors such as, Panther Black, Fiery Red, Mercuric Silver and the new Black-Red and Pyro Orange colors.
Hero MotoCorp brand ambassador, Ranbir Kapoor, will be doing the ad campaigns for the Hero Xtreme Sport.
