2015 Bajaj Avenger Exceeds Expectations by Selling 25000+ Units in December

Bajaj Avenger Street 220 Crusie 220 (1)

2015 Bajaj Avenger Sales is rumoured to have touched 25,000 units mark in December against the Bajaj’s 15,000 target.

The Avenger series from Bajaj took a big leap just two months back. It had been selling a single model with no major updates to it, expect for engine swaps over the past. This time around Avenger has really turned up the volume as Bajaj took the same slate and made some heavy changes and took some brave decisions. The Avenger 150 is clearly the one taking all the limelight and infact the sales as well. Street 220 also is back in the form of the 220cc engine in a pretty much evolutionary avatar thanks to neat touches everywhere.

Bajaj was optimistic according to us in the very beginning with the sales of 15,000 units a month after selling 4,000 units every month for the last 3-4 years. Now it seems like the company ended up underestimating those numbers also and sales are set to reach even higher.

Bajaj is now planning to churn out 25,000 units a month as the demand is higher and it looks like it is all set to go pan India with the Street 150, which was just limited to Maharashtra. Once that happens, company wants to keep its products ready as it is known for quicker deliveries and less waiting period. Taking a new brand to the limit is one thing, taking a silent brand and turning into a success is something unheard off and happens very rarely.

Bajaj Avenger Street 150

Avenger with the three new models in which the Street models are seen as the most in terms of road presence are clearly a hit here in Maharashtra. Numbers are also suggesting the same. Street 150 however is a gamble well played by Bajaj and turns out to be calling card for the new Avenger series. We summed up a story on it HERE
