The Japanese auto manufacturer is expected to launch the facelifted City sometime later this year during festive season.
In terms of quality the car has been ranked as the number one car in the JD Power Initial Quality Study for the 14th time in its presence in the country. The upcoming model is expected to get a bolder front grille, and revised headlamps and front bumper. Apart from that the car would don C shaped taillights at the redesigned rear profile.
The interior too is supposed to come revised with a 15.7 cm touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, premium audio system, paddle shifter, cruise control, electric sunroof etc. So far, the car is expected to get a more premium appearance compared to the outgoing model.
The powertrain for the outgoing model include i-VTEC petrol engine and i-DTEC diesel engine options. Transmission options include both manual and CVT gearboxes. The new generation of Honda CVT technology comes with refined fuel efficiency compared to manual transmission. The car offers several safety features like SRS airbags, ABS, EBD and also the Advanced Compatibility Engineering (ACE) body shell, which ensures better safety for the occupants.
