Bajaj sold more than one lakh units of Pulsar for the first time in a single month and Pulsar 150 is the best selling model
Bajaj Pulsar series registered its highest ever single monthly sales of 1,05,256 units in March 2019. This is the first time, the Chakan based manufacturer has sold more than one lakh units of Pulsar in a single month. Over the years, Bajaj has expanded the lineup of Pulsar and it is now available in 150, 160, 180, 200 and 220 cc. Among them the entry level Pulsar 150 is the best selling model of the company in India and the company sold 83,228 units last month. This engine produces 17.02 PS of power at 8,500 rpm and 14.22 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The braking duties performed by 260 mm disc at the front and 230 mm disc at the rear. Bajaj is also offering a single-channel ABS braking system along with rear wheel lift protection sensor.
The front gets telescopic forks at the front and dual-gas charged 5-way adjustable suspension at the rear. The Pulsar 180 come with 17-inch wheels as the front gets 90/90 section tyre at the front and 120/80 section tyre at the rear.
