The Sei Giorni scooter comes based on the Sport 6 Giorni that happens to be one of the most loved and remembered Vespa models of its time

Vespa has just introduced the 2018 edition of one of its iconic scooter models and has been named as Sei Giorni. The history of the Vespa Sei Giorni dates back to 1951 when the company took part in the 26th International Six Days Enduro competition held in Italy. Out of the ten scooters with which Vespa had entered in the race, nine of them achieved a gold metal. For this reason, one of the most loved Vespa classic scooters – Sport 6 Giorni was given that name for the aforementioned win.

Now, in order to relive history, the company has announced the 2018 Sei Giorni. The interesting highlight of this scooter is that it retains the same original classic appeal while gets the modern day technological set up.

To start off with, the new 2018 Vespa Sei Giorni has been equipped with an Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) to offer safety and convenience to the rider. The scooter also comes fitted with a full LED lighting system that consists of Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) as well. A USB port has also been fitted in the scooter to keep the devices never go out of energy.

Talking of powertrain, the new Vespa Sei Giorni draws its power from a 278cc, single cylinder motor that has been linked to a Magneti Marelli ECU. The engine is good for churning out a maximum power of 21 bhp along with a peak torque of 21.6 Nm. With this, the scooter can hit a top speed of 117 kmph. The Sei Giorni has a total kerb weight of 161 kgs.

Just like other models, Piaggio is also offering a two year unlimited mileage warranty on this scooter. Besides, customers can opt for an additional two year warranty as well. The 2018 Vespa Sei Giorni carries a price tag of $7,699 in the United States and in Canada, it will set its buyer back by $7,995.
