Less than 30 units of the new pure metallic spark black colour for Kawasaki Z900 have arrived for sale in India at present
Kawasaki India has just launched a new colour for its naked streetfighter Z900. The latest shade goes by the name Pure Metallic Spark Black and is currently available for sale in low numbers. To be precise, less than 30 units of this new colour have been made available for India and the company wants to see the response initially. If the demand seems pleasant, the brand will bring more units to the country.
Mechanically, there are no changes to the Kawasaki Z900 and the motorcycle continues to get its power from the same 948 cc, inline four cylinder engine that comes mated to a six-speed transmission system. The fuel injected engine develops a maximum power of 124 bhp along with a peak torque of 99 Nm. The gearbox is further linked to a slipper clutch for easy gearshifts.
Regarding the launch of the new colour of Kawasaki Z900, Mr Yutaka Yamashita, who is the Managing Director at India Kawasaki Motors states that the response for the Z900 has been very positive in India. The top honcho said that he hopes with the addition of new colour that the people who have been waiting for this would be happy.
Responding to the requirements of the customers is one of the company’s key priorities. He further added that Kawasaki, being a premium brand always tries to maintain a certain class in its products through appearance and technology.
Currently, the Kawasaki Z900 arrives in India through the CBU (Completely Built Unit) route from its factory in Thailand. The already existing colours of the Kawasaki Z900 will be sold alongside the newly launched pure metallic spark black shade.
If you are interested in buying the Kawasaki Z900 in the new black colour, you will have to book the bike at the earliest from one of the company’s dealerships. After that, the company will dispatch the motorcycle to the particular outlet.
