This new exhaust for the latest generation 390 Duke boosts up the power by 11 percent and torque by 17 percent
Yoshimura has introduced a new exhaust set up for the popular 2017 KTM 390 Duke streetfighter. The slip on exhaust goes by the name Alpha T and it not only claims to enhance the sound of the motorcycle but also boosts up the performance. Besides this new exhaust, Yoshimura has also launched a rear fender elimination kit that makes the said portion of the bike look sportier.
Yoshimura claims that its new Alpha T exhaust for the 2017 KTM 390 Duke steps up the power by 11 percent while the torque figure sees a rise of 17 percent. The company says that since this exhaust is a slip-on, there is no need to retune the ECU (Engine Control unit) of the motorcycle. The brand has not revealed the exact weight of this new set up but it claims that the unit weighs lesser than the stock 390 Duke exhaust.

Talking of the other product that Yoshimura has introduced for the new 390 Duke, a rear fender elimination kit, as the name suggests, trims down the rear end of the bike. The kit comprises of a carbon fibre registration plate holder along with an illuminator and stock turning winkers can be fitted on the same.
Coming to the price, the new Yoshimura exhaust for 390 Duke costs USD 429 or Rs. 27,462. On the other hand, the fender eliminator kit will set you back by USD 149 or Rs. 9,538. These two will soon be available for sale at the official Yoshimura distributors and Ultimate Auto Impex stores in the coming months.

The 2017 KTM 390 Duke is powered by a 373cc, single cylinder engine that comes mated to a six-speed transmission. The fuel injected punchy motor develops respective power and torque outputs of 43 bhp and 37 Nm. Prime highlights of the motorcycle include full LED headlamp, coloured TFT instrument cluster that supports smartphone connectivity, a slipper clutch and dual disc brakes with a standard ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System).
