TVS Motor Company has introduced a Chocolate Gold edition to the StaR City+ motorcycle. The new edition of the popular motorcycle comes wearing a colour combination of gold, brown and tan. The alloy wheels have been painted in gold. The special Chocolate Gold edition of TVS StaR City+ model is priced at Rs. 49234 (ex showroom, Delhi).
Apart from the new Chocolate Gold edition, the motorcycle is available in other premium options like Matte Titanium Grey edition and Gold edition. The Gold edition was launched last year in October during the festive season with a price tag of Rs. 48934 (ex showroom, Delhi). The new edition of the motorcycle is available in selected TVS showrooms across the country. The power source of the motorcycle remains same. TVS StaR City+ is powered by a tried and tested peppy 109.7 cc single cylinder air cooled engine which is mated to a four speed constant mesh gearbox, and churns out 8.30 bhp of peak power at 7000 rpm and 8.70 Nm of peak torque at 5000 rpm.
The TVS StaR City+ features digital fuel gauge and analog speedometer at the instrument cluster, long wheelbase and wider rear tyre. Built on a single cradle tubular frame the motorcycle gets telescopic oil damped suspension at the front, and five step adjustable hydraulic shock absorber at the rear. The braking duty is done by drum brakes at both the wheels, disappointingly no disc brakes.
Head of the Marketing, Motorcycles, TVS Motor Company Mr. Arun Siddharth believes, this new Chocolate Gold edition of the already popular TVS StaR City+ will enhance the appeal of the motorcycle further. He also said, that the TVS Motor Company believes, colours play a significant role in motorcycle purchase decisions for the customers, and this new colour combinations of the Chocolate Gold edition will give the customers a wide options to choose according to their personality.
