Top ten selling scooters in May 2016 has Honda Activa leading the charge with Hero having three products in the list

The top 10 list of scooters sold in the Indian market for the month of May highlights the utter superiority of Honda Activa. It has been dominating the space for several years now and is way ahead of the competition with its long-range ability and tireless riding in the jammed up traffics. Its command in the scooter segment is so much that the nearest rival TVS Jupiter recorded only a fifth of sales that Activa could endure.

At the end of May, Honda sold 2,37,317 units of the Activa and is ahead of the rest by a country mile. TVS’ Jupiter is the best-selling scooter from the Indian two-wheeler manufacturer as 43,867 examples were retailed last month.
