Top 10 selling utility vehicles in July 2016 saw Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza leaping ahead of the competition with besides five Mahindra making their presence
The sales chart for the month of July 2016 encountered Maruti Suzuki’s subcompact SUV, the Vitara Brezza, not only excelled its own rivals but also outsmarting all the big players in the utility vehicles segment. As customary with some of the bestselling Maruti Suzuki products, the Vitara Brezza did so in style as it set a huge margin to the second-placed and then SUV market leader Hyundai Creta.
The difference of over 2,200 units saw Brezza garnering a total of 10,232 deliveries. Hyundai Creta is one of the top three best selling cars overall from the South Korean brand alongside the i twins. Its popularity has never dwindled since launch last year as 7,981 units were sold last month.

Third was the highly dominant Toyota Innova Crysta with its premium looks and plentiful equipment, it reigns supreme in the MPV space. The long-standing benchmark in the sub-four metre category, the Ford EcoSport, witnessed a total sale of 4,885 units for fourth position. Behind the top three, there were five SUVs from the largest utility manufacturer in the country.
Having dispossessed by new products from top spot, the Mahindra Bolero is still the top-selling SUV for the Indian brand as 3,929 units were delivered. The Honda BR-V has been doing justice for the Japanese car maker as 3,333 examples were retailed at the end of July 2016 to finish in seventh position. The only micro-SUV in the country, the KUV100 had endured good numbers as well as 2,964 units found new homes last month.

The flagship SUV for Mahindra has its fair share of customers retained every month as evident from its selling numbers of 2,210 units in July 2016. Having been overshadowed by the huge response received for the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and Ford EcoSport, the TUV300 could only manage to gather the final place in the chart as it rounded out with 2,175 units.
