Tata Tiago Sport rendering shows an aggressive side of the hatchback; will draw power from a 1.2 litre three cylinder turbo petrol engine
Tata Motors is all geared up to enter the hot hatch segment in Indian market with the launch of the Tiago Sport, which will launch in festive season this year. IAB has published a rendered image of the upcoming sporty hatchback which gives us a clear idea of the car. The Tiago Sport will come posing a very aggressive stance with more power over the regular hatchback.
The Tiago Sport sports a bold looking front fascia, which incorporates sharp designed headlamps, matte black smiling pattern radiator grille instead of piano black finish. The brand logo sitting at the centre of the grille, front bumper comes with red accents. The bumper looks aggressive with a large air intake and sleek fog lamps.

The side profile also sports bolder stance with aggressive black finished alloy wheels with red pinstripe, sporty red decals The wing mirror caps and the door handles also come sporting red paint job. Expect the rear to sport a sharp integrated roof spoiler with a bold looking bumper. So far, the Tata Tiago Sport comes visibly more appealing compared to the regular hatchback.
The interior of the car would also sport some updates delivering a sporty vibe. Expect the steering wheel, seats and upholstery to come featuring contrast stitching, sporty aluminum pedals, a larger touchscreen infotainment system developed by Harman, automatic climate control to make their way into the Tiago Sport.

Power source under the hood of the Tiago Sport will be a 1.2 litre three cylinder turbocharged Revotron petrol engine which will churn out 120 PS of peak power. This same engine will also come available under the Tata Nexon, which was showcased at 2016 New Delhi Auto Expo earlier this year. Tata Motors has already dropped the plan of launching the Bolt Sport due to the dull sales of the Bolt; therefore the Tiago Sport comes in place of the proposed Bolt Sports.
