Royal Enfield Himalayan start reaching dealership ahead of next month launch, test rides to begin from 17th March
Royal Enfield Himalayan is one such motorcycle which has been in the limelight ever since the first pictures came out. The pictures came in all sizes and forms and there were even videos. A lot of rumors were dismissed as the dates to unveil came closer and a lot of things turned out to be true.
The motorcycle is the next big thing after the brand itself in India and will be the same around the world soon as RE is all set to take the company global very soon and is happening rapidly as we speak.
The Himalayan was unveiled recently, a day before the Auto Expo and everything else was revealed just before the launch, except for the price. That is all set to happen in the March 2 week, which our sources confirm and so does the company to an extent. We have a date, 17’th March and it is a perfect time once test rides commence. Here, we have spotted bike in a dealership being displayed to gain the attention of customers and prospective buyers to get a feel and look of the motorcycle in person.
The Himalayan is set to be the most accessory equipped motorcycle of all times by RE and by any company in India. The motorcycle will get panniers, Jerry cans, customization options, seat height options and much more. With the Himalayan there are also custom rider jackets and pants along with safety gear on offer, which will have this new motorcycle brand name stuck on it.
Coming to the newly developed air/oil cooled engine which displaces 410cc and makes 24.5 BHP and 32 Nm of torque, which is segment best when it comes to torque and not horsepower, which obviously is very RE aka thumper all the way. Stay tuned for the ride report soon on the Himalayan.
