Renault Lodgy World Edition showcased at the Auto Expo 2016 with several cosmetic upgrades
Renault Lodgy made its appearance at the Auto Expo 2016 in the form of ‘World Edition’ which had several cosmetic changes to differentiate from the model currently on sale. The Renault Lodgy World Edition comprises of a jewel-studded prominent front grille, sportier dual-tone bumper, high-gloss fiery red colour scheme, restyled front fog lamps finished in chrome satin, redesigned front and rear skid plates, anthracite finish 15-inch alloy wheels and a roof-mounted spoiler.
Topping the visual embellishments are a dark metal finish on the dual tone roof rail, black body cladding and matte-black finish on B and C pillars. Stepping on the inside, you could spot the air vents being treated with orange paint, orange accents on the instrument cluster and centre console, World Edition badge on the multi-spoke steering wheel with button controls, new upholstery, Renault scuff plate, Gris Fume door trim, etc.
The standard Renualt Lodgy MPV is offered in eleven version with one engine and one transmission options. The 1,461 cc diesel engine comes with two states of power and torque tunes: The base motor develops 84 bhp of maximum power output at 3750 rpm and 200 Nm of peak torque at 1900 rpm with 21.04 kmpl claimed mileage and there is a more powerful K9K version tuned to produce 108 bhp power at 4000 rpm and 245 Nm of torque at 1750 rpm with rated 19.98 kmpl fuel economy.
Both models are front-wheel driven and the power is transferred through a six-speed manual transmission.
The prices for the Renault Lodgy MPV start at Rs. 8.29 lakh for the base variant and Rs. 12.29 lakh for the range-topping Stepway edition featuring additional equipment such as reverse parking camera, revering sensors, fog lamps, electrically adjustable Outside Rear View Mirrors, body decals, etc.
