Renault Kwid has crossed 1 lakh sales milestone in 14 months since launch, one of the most popular cars in India at present

The Renault Kwid has achieved 1 lakh sales milestone in India, since its launch on 24th September last year. The hatchback is presently one of the bestselling cars in the country. It has helped the French automaker to establish a strong footprint in the domestic market. Achieving the feat in just 14 months since launch, and that too despite tough competition; shows how well the car has been doing in the market.

The Kwid comes with an unconventional design language, which has played a crucial role in making it so popular. It sports a rugged and aggressive look, which was completely new to its segment; when the car was launched last year. This car looks like a blend between a hatchback and a small SUV.

Also, Renault has recently introduced an AMT to the top-end trim RXT, which bearing a price-tag of only Rs. 4.26 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi) makes this car a very much appealing one.
