Renault Duster sales increased due to the new facelifted version for the second consecutive month

Renault launched the Duster SUV for the domestic market on March 2nd and it came equipped with an all-new automatic transmission. The French manufacturer introduced the new Duster strategically but despite it coinciding with the market entry Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, the sport utility vehicle enthusiasts haven’t certainly let it down.

Although the Kwid small hatchback’s contribution in making 132 per cent YoY sales surge for the brand last month is gigantic, the Renault Duster has backed it up quite well. Of the 8,343 Renault cars sold in May 2016, 1,764 were the new facelifted Duster. On its own, the potent SUV recorded a sales growth of 23 per cent as 1,764 deliveries were made.
