Nissan India offers drive experience with John Abraham; customers can test drive Terrano SUV with the Bollywood actor
Nissan India is offering an unique chance to its potential customers. The Japanese automaker is asking the customers to test drive the Terrano compact SUV. It is offering the customers a chance to drive with Bollywood actor John Abraham. The company has already tied up the actor as its brand ambassador. The announcement came during the 2016 New Delhi Auto Expo earlier this year in February.
Despite being launched in India quite long ago the Terrano couldn’t do well. On the other hand similarly designed Renault Duster has been very successful in the compact SUV segment in Indian market. Now to boost the sales of the Terrano, the automaker has commenced a whole new campaign dubbed as ‘Designed for Domination’.

The Japanese auto manufacturer is offering the customers a chance to buy the Terrano in an attractive finance option. In this new scheme the potential customers can avail car loan to buy the Nissan Terrano with only 5.99% interest rate. In recent times Nissan has tried to boost the sales of the Terrano by launching a special edition as well.

The Nissan Terrano is available with a single engine. The 1.5 litre diesel engine is mated to a 5 speed manual gearbox as standard, while there is a 6 speed manual transmission on offer as well. The engine churns out power in two different state of tunes. In one state of tune the engine pumps out 85 bhp of peak power and 200 Nm of peak torque. While in other state of tune it delivers 108 bhp of peak power and 248 Nm of peak torque.

The Nissan Terrano is a muscular compact SUV in Indian market, which comes bearing some similarities with Renault Duster. The car sports chrome garnished front grille, sharply designed headlamps, beefy bumper with large air intake, fog lamps, and skid plate. The side profile features flared wheel arches, sporty and aggressive alloy wheels, roof rails, sharp creases running through the body.
