Maruti Suzuki Swift is one of the best selling and most popular hatchbacks available in Indian market. The popular car is all set to get a radical makeover in the 2017 Swift, which is expected to hit the Indian market sometime around 2017. Although we have seen the leaked images and spyshots of the new Swift earlier, Auto Express has published a new rendering of the upcoming Swift.

Compare to the outgoing Swift the new model will feature a radically different look which has been inspired by the Maruti Suzuki Baleno premium hatchback. The front grille becomes larger and very aggressive complemented by large air dams housing the fog lamps, and to make the sportier it also adorns a splitter.

The interior of the car will come featuring a fully revised appearance which will get multifunction steering wheel, touchscreen infotainment system at the centre console with SmartPlay and automatic climate control. These features would be available in the top end variant although.

At the diesel front the new Swift is expected to receive a new engine, which will be fuel efficient and powerful.

As Suzuki claims, the next generation Swift will be more fun to drive and it will come more rigid, enhancing the safety of the car.
