Vitara Brezza vs Creta Design & Dimension Comparison:

Each of the contending SUVs in the segment has unique design traits and it depends on individual preference to pick which is the best looking of the lot. The Hyundai Creta launched last year has an elegant styling and sharper stance partly because of the fluidic design adapted by the brand. The front fascia is fitted with hexagonal chrome grille, vertical fog lamps with black surrounds, swept-back LED headlights, blackened air dam and wide bonnet wrapping a muscular package.

Carrying design attributes from the flagship Santa Fe SUV, the side profile has character lines angled towards the rear from the front flared wheel arches. It has tapered roofline and roof rails, vertically stacked rear with two sections, wrap-around tail lights, black bumper and diamond-cut alloys to round out a boxy yet beautiful design.

The Hyundai Creta measures 4270 mm in length, 1780 mm in width, 1630 in height and comes with a generous wheelbase of 2590 mm, ground clearance of 183 mm and boot capacity of 398 litres.

The Vitara Brezza’s styling is inspired by the Suzuki iv-4 concept, it features a bolder design with tapered roofline and a vertical-slated chrome grille, neatly designed clamshell bonnet, large honeycomb air dam, prominent body cladding and silver skid plates, round-ish fog lamps with rectangular enclosures and muscular bumper up front.

It’s the first vehicle in India to be in accordance with offset and side impact crash tests that are come into effect in 2017.

This is due to the stronger Suzuki TECT hi-tensile steel body structure. At the back, it has a pair of two-piece tail lamps with neatly aligned lights, rear windscreen wiper and a rather tamed rear bumper. Exterior-wise the Creta and Vitara would stand toe-to-toe and will be hard for customers to pick just one.

The dual-tone colour scheme will try to attract young buyers and the fuel-efficient 1.3-litre diesel engine will fit the bill for majority of the potential owners. It has lesser wheelbase, not-so-powerful engine and boot volume than the Creta but the packed features list, higher ground clearance and the trusted driveability could be the other important sales attributes that would put Vitara Brezza above all of its competitors.
