Mahindra Centuro Mirzya special edition celebrates the company’s association with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s upcoming movie, ‘Mirzya’

Mahindra Two-Wheelers Ltd. has launched a special edition bike Mahindra Centuro Mirzya, at a price of Rs. 51,000 (ex-showroom). The bike has been launched to celebrate the two-wheeler manufacturer’s association with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s upcoming movie, ‘Mirzya’. The movie is scheduled to release in theaters on 7th October. And with the bike launched right ahead of the festive season, the company expects to fetch good sales result.

The Mahindra Centuro Mirzya special edition gets exclusive golden coloured body graphics on the black paint, keeping significance to the movie Mirzya. Also it gets new black alloy wheels, LED taillights; which make the bike distinctive. Apart from that it carries the features, which the regular Mahindra Centuro have. On the mechanical front the special edition does not get any update at all.

The Mahindra Centuro Mirzya takes power from the same 106.7cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled, Mci-5 engine like regular model. This engine is mated to a 4-speed transmission and churns out 8.40 BHP of peak power at 7,500 RPM and 8.50 NM of peak torque at 5,500 RPM. The Mahindra Centuro Mirzya delivers a fuel economy of around 60kmpl. So far, the power and torque output remains same like the regular model. It runs on alloy wheels and gets drum brakes only.

Talking about the Centuro Mirzya special edition bike Mr. Vinod Sahay, the Chief Executive Officer of Mahindra Two-Wheelers Ltd. said that, the company is delighted to present the special edition bike, to celebrate its association with the upcoming movie. He also hoped that, the bike will become a rage in the upcoming festive season.

The Mirzya is a modern day love story directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. Story of the movie is based on the historical Punjabi folklore legend of Mirza-Sahiban. Lead characters in the movie are played by Anil Kapoor’s son Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher.
