Kawasaki Versys X 300 takes design inspiration from its bigger sibling Versys 650; the adventure tourer uses same engine as Ninja 300
Adventure touring segment in the Indian motorcycle market has not been very congested or explored yet. But with the growing popularity, several bike makers are coming forward to introduce their products across different price ranges in the segment.
While models like Royal Enfield Himalayan and Mahindra Mojo are already there under 500 cc segment, BMW is preparing its G310 GS model for launch next year and the Austrian bike manufacturer KTM is also set to introduce its 390 Adventure in the country soon.

With their entry, the competition is going to get pretty much intensified. However, wanting to be an early bird and have the first punch, Kawasaki has just launched its entry-level adventure tourer, the Versys X 300, in the market today much to the surprise of everyone.
It made its global premiere at the 2016 edition of EICMA Show in Milan and we expected it to reach our shores only next year. Apparently, Kawasaki did not want to wait that long and added the bike to its showrooms. It strengthens the brand’s Versys range by joining two other siblings, the Versys 650 and Versys 1000.
It follows the debut of the Versys 650 that only features revised body graphics for 2018. The Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer had reportedly imported a bike codenamed as LE250C earlier and fuelled speculation of a possible 250cc model was in the making. We safely assumed that it was no more when the X 300 made its global debut.
New age customers are opting for interesting segments and more adventurous bikes. No wonder the Kawasaki Versys X 300 has now become a compelling option to consider in the entry-level ADV category. Here is everything you need to know about the all-new Kawasaki Versys X 300:

Despite the price of Rs. 4.60 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi and Mumbai), it is still one of the least expensive advs in India from a premium bike maker and acts as a testament to the growing craze of adventure motorcycles and will motivate more premium companies to introduce their entry-level adventure models.
