2018 Mercedes Benz C Class interior incorporates new steering wheel and instrument cluster; exterior sports E-Class inspired LED headlamps

The India-bound 2018 Mercedes-Benz C-Class has been spied again and this time it shows the interior of the upcoming luxury sedan. The cabin of facelift C-Class model sports a new steering wheel and a revised instrument cluster. Also, the centre console looks refreshed as well. Expect the seat and upholstery material to get improved to offer more luxurious experience.

The facelifted Mercedes-Benz C-Class gets mild design tweak at exterior. It is expected to arrive as sharper and more stylish compared to the current model. The facelifted luxury sedan receives E-Class inspired LED headlamps, revised front bumper and new air intake at the front fascia. To enhance its style quotient further, the car sports chrome embellished side skirts.

Rear profile of the 2018 Mercedes-Benz C-Class gets some changes as well. The taillights with LED inserts are likely to sport a revised look, while the rear bumper also comes redesigned. Apart from that, it has a sleek chrome bar at the tailgate above the registration enclosure. The dual exhausts with slanted appearance are likely to remain unchanged.

Not only exterior and interior, but powertrain of the upcoming C-Class could also get update. It is likely to receive a new 2.0-litre four-cylinder diesel engine from its bigger sibling E-Class. Apart from that, the turbocharged four-cylinder petrol unit under the hood of present model is expected to be continued. Transmission options are likely to be continued.

The existing Mercedes-Benz C-Class was launched in India in November, 2014. Expect the facelifted model to arrive in the country sometime in late 2017 or early 2018. India-spec C-Class is currently available in three different engine choices, including both petrol and diesel units. The petrol units are a 2.0-litre and a 4.0-litre engine with the latter available in range-topping variant. On the diesel front, the luxury sedan gets a 2.2-litre unit under the hood. The car is available within a price range of Rs. 39.63 lakh – Rs. 1.33 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi).
