Hyundai i10 GO, i20 GO and i30 GO unveiled at 2016 Geneva Auto Show along with 1.7L Tucson

Hyundai Motors, with all guns blazing, has showcased several new products at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. The company has also unveiled the special editions of i10, i20 and i30 at the event. The special editions are named as GO! and flaunt one of the colours of the French flag – blue, white and red – to go with the UEFA European soccer championships that France is hosting this summer.

In addition, full line-up of Ioniq, Santa Fe facelift and Tucson’s recently announced 1.7L diesel engine variant graced the South-Korean automaker’s podium at the Auto Show.

Talking about the i10, i20, i30 Go! editions, they come with exclusive blue and white accents in the interior cabin. Riding on lightweight alloy wheels, these models have privacy glass from the B pillar. Especially, the i10 GO! boasts of privacy glass and blue stitching on seats, steering wheel and the gearshift lever as well as a glossy black finish on the centre console. As for i20 Go!, it gets blue surrounds at he gearshift and outer air vents.

Also, the newly-designed alloy wheels and black headlining adds sportiness to the hatch. Coming to the i30 Go!, it flaunts a premium front grille and 17-inch alloy wheels. Inside the cabin, several elements such as steering wheel, centre console, air vents and doors have gunmetal finish and black headlining over them.

Speaking about Hyundai Tucson, it is the company’s best selling compact SUV across the globe. Now, the South-Korean automaker has introduced a new variant to the existing line-up. It comes with a 1.7L diesel engine with maximum power of 139bhp and peak torque of 340Nm, while mated to a 7-speed double clutch automatic transmission. The power is transmitted to the front wheels and it returs a fuel economy of 19kmpl.

With the addition of this new variant, the Tucsan now comes with two petrol engines and four diesel engine. The compact SUV was also showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo with an expected launch around September in India. Just to add to your knowledge, the Tucson has received the maximum five-star Euro NCAP safety rating and comes with Blind Spot Detection & Lane Keeping Assist System as standard features.
