Honda to double Navi’s production in India; it presently has capacity to produce 50,000 units of the funky moto-scooter per year

Honda Navi is a funky looking product the two-wheeler manufacturer launched earlier this year. The company claimed, it won’t set any fixed sales target for this moto-scooter, but with the response from the customers the company is pretty much surprised. The Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer set up a production capacity of 50,000 units per year for the Navi, but with growing demand and positive response it plans to take production capacity up to 1 lakh units soon.

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) showcased Navi at 2016 new Delhi Auto Expo, and later launched it in April at around Rs. 40,000 mark. The Navi certainly brought fresh air in the conventional two-wheeler space in Indian market and grabbed attention immediately. The company initially speculated around 2,000 units of sales every month, and it has sold 9,228 units till September 2016 since its launch.
