Honda Racing heralds India’s first motorsports help line; 2016 one-make series calendar revealed
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) has announced the 2016 season calendar for the ninth edition of the Honda One Make Race kicking-off from June 24 onwards. For the first-time ever, Honda Women Racers will get to participate in a full season as ten riders enter into the competition.
Honda has taken the initiative for racing enthusiasts vying to have a professional career in motorsport by offering a help line number – 0124-6712863. India is never short of talents when it comes to both two and four wheeled racing. Some of the key examples being Narain Karthikeyan, Gaurav Gill, Karun Chandhok, Aditya Patel, KP Aravind, K Rajini and several others.

Lack of funding and exposure have marred some of the highly skilled racing drivers’ career and thus Honda is trying to develop the basement from the grassroot level. It is to provide world-class training at Ten10 Racing academy pit stops all over the country.
Honda One Make Race (HOMR) will commence at the Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore as 53 riders will be fighinging for honours in the CBR 150R and 250R open categories.The race-bred versions of the CBR 250R and CBR 150R are developed by HRID (Honda’s India R&D team).
The CBR 250R has received Honda racing kit as the upgrade includes advanced racing body cowl kit, endurance exhaust and new wiring harness with remapping option while the CBR 150R gains an endurance exhaust and reprogrammed ECU unit for better ride and handling.
International dose of racing action will comprise of round 5 of the Asia Dream Cup (ADC) to be contested at Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida as Indian riders Hari Krishnan and Sethu Rajiv will be representing the home country.

Honda has registered entries of over 53 riders from different parts of the country such as Mizoram, Ahmedabad, Ranchi, Aizwal, Jalgaon, Pune, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Trichy and Aoroville. Honda Racing also announced the dates and venues for the Honda Ten 10 Racing Training Academy. It offers opportunity for participants to show their talent and construct a career in the top-level motorsports.
