Hero Splendor Pro Launched, has new meters, new side panels, cowl, tank and priced is raised with a bare minimum of Rs 200
Hero wants to make sure it stays in the lead when it comes to motorcycle sales. While Honda hasn’t been able to crack it with the Dream series much, it does poses a threat as it has four motorcycles in that category. Hero has been upgrading all their bikes top to bottom when it comes to cosmetic changes.
The engine remains the same as it comes with the 97.2cc reliable, air-cooled, 4-Stroke, Single Cylinder APDV engine. The engine makes the 8.36 Ps @ 8000 RPM and maximum torque of 8.05 N-m @ 5000 RPM. The power goes through a four speed gear-box.
Hero Splendor Pro features a new sporty windshield visor with powerful and larger headlamps and Clear Lens indicators, and a new triple pod Cockpit meter Console that has a side stand indicator. Other changes include a chrome plated Utility box and Muffler cover is chiseled at the back now instead of full chrome covered.
Body colored Mirrors, Sporty Tail lamps, wider seat and broad aluminium grab rail are part of the splendor range and the steel carriers are reserved for HF series of motorcycles.
These things are something that we told you when the spy shots came in. The bike is available in four variants as well, which should have options of electric start, alloy wheels along with kick-start. Hero Splendor Pro is available in eight colors.
Black Purple, Heavy Grey, Cloud Silver, Candy Blazing Red, Palace Maroon, Black Monotone and two new colors such as Shield Gold and Black Red are coming with the Hero Splendor Pro. The Splendor Plus, Pro and iSmart, all three bikes continue to get 5 year standard warranty from Hero.
In other news from Hero and Splendor range, Hero has added two new colors to the iSmart such as, Black Boon Silver & Black Sports Red. These colors are in addition to the existing colours of Sports Red, Leaf Green, Excellent Blue & Heavy Grey.
Splendor Plus gets self start, another scoop that we told before some weeks back. Expect the sales to reach new heights as the stronger part of the portfolio has been heavily revised.
