First Batch of Ford Mustang sold out, launched earlier this month in India on 13th July in GT variant

Ford India has finally launched the iconic Mustang in India earlier this month on 13th July. Within 15 days the first batch of the Mustang GT is all sold out. Therefore the American marquee has enough reason to be hopeful for the success of Mustang in India. The car also boosted Ford India’s overall sales in very recent past.

The Ford Mustang has been one of the most iconic car of all time. Millions of car lovers has fallen in love with this car across generations. We Indians were no different at all. Yet Ford took long time to launch the car in the country. The new generation Mustang comes more suave and stylish compare to the old models, but the brute soul is intact.

The new generation Ford Mustang gets sharp headlamp clusters with projector units and triple LED bars. The front grille looks very aggressive with the stallion logo. The large air intake, fog lamps, splitter at the bottom just enhances the masculine appeal. The coupe roofline, large wheels, sleek and sharp character lines makes the car appear very stylish. The rear profile gets three LED bar tail lamps.

 

The Ford Mustang GT has been designed to deliver superior aerodynamic efficiency. The car is available in six different exterior colours. The interior features a sporty multifunction steering wheel, dual pod instrument cluster with large MID at the centre. The centre console gets a large touchscreen infotainment system flanked by round HVAC vents and control buttons and knobs.

The Mustang GT gets a massive 5.0 litre V8 naturally aspirated engine under the hood. The engine is mated to a 6 speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. It churns out 395 bhp of peak power and 515 Nm of peak torque. It is capable to accelerate 0 – 100 kmph in just 4 seconds with a top speed of 250 kmph. Ford India has kept the pricing of the car at Rs. 65 lakh (ex showroom, Delhi).
