Fiat Linea 125S Launched in India; gets power from 1.4-litre turbocharged engine uprated to 125 PS
Fiat Linea becomes the most powerful sedan in its segment as FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles India) announces a significant power upgrade throughout its entire range of models. The new Power Tech engines are deployed on the Punto compact hatchback and Avventura crossover with features being upgraded as well.
The Fiat Linea 125 S will have a price tag of Rs. 7.82 lakh (ex-showroom price, New Delhi). The Fiat Linea competes against Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Honda City, Skoda Rapid and Volkswagen Vento in the executive sedan segment. With the new power upgrade it has become the most powerful model in its class.

The five-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Map My India navigation comprises of Bluetooth connectivity, SD card facility and USB alongside rear view camera for the ease of parking and reversing. The longest executive C-segment sedan also features rain sensing smart wipers, , rear sun curtain, disc brakes on all four wheels, cruise control, auto headlamps, 16-inch alloy wheels, class-best 3 years/100,000 km warranty, dual stage driver airbags, single-touch power windows and so on.
The Fiat Linea 125 S derives power from the same 1.4-litre turbocharged DOHC four-cylinder engine which has been tuned to develop a power output of 125 PS at 5,000 rpm and 210 Nm of torque at 2,200 rpm. It comes mated with a five-speed manual transmission driving the front wheels.

The Fiat Linea 125 S continues to measure 4596 mm in length, 1730 mm in width, 1487 mm in height and features a wheelbase of 2603 mm. Its ground clearance stands at best-in-class 190 mm and accommodates a bootspace of 500 litres. It weighs 1,255 kilos and has fuel tank capacity of 45 litres.
