Amidst the anticipation on how it fares in the domestic market, a Facebook user has posted three pictures of the Urban Cross in the performance-spec Abarth variant. The images of the Abarth Urban Cross on display seem to have been taken from a shopping mall in Bengaluru and it had ‘Powered by Abarth’ badges on the rear door alongside the signature Scorpion alloy wheels we have already used to see in the Abarth Punto.

The Fiat Abarth Punto is a highly appreciated and recognized hot hatch in the country with the power figure of 140 PS cannot be matched by any of its rivals like the Volkswagen Polo GTi and the upcoming Baleno RS. The Italian automaker is already offering the 1.4 turbocharged petrol making 140 PS maximum power and 210 Nm of peak torque in the top-end Urban Cross. The engine is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox.
