Toyota Etios Cross Dynamique is a special edition version of the standard crossover, will have visual makeover and interiors modifications

Toyota is preparing to launch a special edition version of the Etios Cross that competes in the highly lucrative crossover market against the likes of Hyundai i20 Active, Volkswagen Cross Polo and Fiat Avventura. We reported in June 2015 that Toyota Kirloskar Motor had applied for a trademark name that could spring up a special edition for the domestic market.

The trademarked name was Etios Cross Dynamique and as we had predicted it will be the same moniker that the Japanese auto major will endorse with for the upcoming special edition model set to be launched this month. Toyota has been selling the Etios Cross, which is a crossover derivative of the Etios hatchback, in considerably good numbers.
At an average sale of almost 950 units monthly, the Bengaluru-headquartered firm has decided to reveal a special edition Dynamique version to catapult it selling figures against the Hyundai i20 Active. In another exclusive, we can confirm that the Etios Cross Dynamique will have visual makeover and interiors modifications to have a standout impression from the standard model.

The exterior changes on the Toyota Etios Cross Dynamique will include black-coated Outside Rear View Mirrors and door handles, roof rails covered in black, reverse parking sensor and Dynamique badge on the left-hand side C pillar. It will be offered in two colour schemes: orange and white. The spunky outer body and taller wheels have been retained in order to appeal for more young customers with plastic body cladding kits and large bumpers.

The interiors will have dual tone colour options with colour co-ordinated steering cover, seats and floor mat alongside gear knob finished in piano black and chrome. If you are choosing to go with orange colour paint scheme, you will be offered black and orange interiors whilst the white colour option will get you black and grege interiors with blue foot-well lighting.
