BMW X1M Sport comes with typical M traits, subtle changes from the regular version, interior gets M badges almost everywhere
The BMW X1 has been in India since the year 2011. Late 2013 saw an LCI treatment on it and today the BMW has introduced the M Sport package for the X1 to keep it fresh and going. M sport packages, add a host of cosmetic and dynamic treatment to the vehicle which adds to the sporty appeal of the vehicle. M Sport package includes 17-inch wheels on the outside along with front bumper being typical M type one with three openings to give it better cooling and aerodynamics.
Rear bumper and faux diffuser and under body treatment are also done to make the car more slippery. Tail pipe is finished gloss black along with side skirts and bigger wheel arches to fit the larger wheels can be seen on the BMW X1M Sport. Interior wise, on the BMW X1M Sport, there are M badges on the seats, steering wheel and on the seats. Steering wheel which is leather wrapped and is hand-stitched blue and red color is seen on the BMW X1M Sport. Sporty seats also make to make things ergonomically sound. M badged door sills and headliner in Anthracite is also available.
Mechanically, the BMW X1M Sport gets the same 2.0 litre diesel engine which makes 182 BHP and 380 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a slick and quick shifting 8-Speed gearbox to the rear wheels. The gearbox can be controlled via paddle shifters from behind the wheel. This is the third model which BMW India has introduced when it comes M Sport package.

Recently, BMW launched X3 M sport with 6-cylinder diesel engine. The BMW 530D M sport is also available for the enthusiast to rejoice too. New X1 is on its way which is also spotted in M disguise and this is being done to clear stock and make way for the new and highly improved 2016 X1.
