Bajaj’s new Pulsar series hopes to up the market share of the brand by up to 50 percent; it foresees around 10,000 units of Kratos VS400’s sales

Bajaj Auto is certainly one of the largest players in Indian two-wheeler segment. The two-wheeler manufacturer has seen phenomenal success with its Pulsar series, and now the company is gearing up to launch an new Pulsar series, which is expected to hit market in December 2016. The company is ambitious about grabbing 50% market share with all-new 2017 Bajaj Pulsar series.

The upcoming new Bajaj Pulsar series is expected to come with significantly improved performance. Also, the bikes will come sporting revised styling as well. Apart from that, as Indian automotive space is about to meet new emission rules soon, the new Pulsar series is expected to come with BS-IV emission compliance. Also expect the new models to come sporting safety features like ABS and CBS.

Speaking about the new Bajaj Pulsar series Mr. Rajiv Bajaj, Managing Director of Bajaj Auto has said, the upcoming Pulsar series will launch by December, 2016. Bajaj Auto also believes that, the upcoming Kratos VS400 will sell around 10,000 units per month, which seems quite over ambitious however for the company.

Incidentally, Bajaj Kratos VS400 was initially thought to be launched as the top-end Pulsar model, but later it was revealed that it will be sold under a different badge. Bajaj Pulsar range is one of the most popular and bestselling motorcycle series in Indian market for quite long time. The high performance and affordability of these motorcycles has given them popularity and brought success for Bajaj Auto.
