Audi rolls out millionth Q5 from the Ingolstadt ahead of the second-generation model’s world premiere at the upcoming Paris Motor Show

Audi has achieved a new milestone couple of days back as the one millionth Q5 luxury SUV manufactured at the Ingolstadt production base was rolled out. The special vehicle was a SQ5 that will be delivered to a German family and was painted in Sepang Blue with a powerful V6 under the bonnet. The accomplished milestone comes eight years after the SUV was launched officially in the international market and the crowd puller has its presence in more than 100 countries around the world.

The Four Rings’ Q5 is an outstanding seller both in India and China which enabled the German company to locally produce this model. Cumulatively, the deliveries of the global SUV will account for about 1.6 million. Standing in conformation to its ever growing popularity is that last year the car maker sold a total of 2,66,968 units worldwide which is a significant increase by eight percent compared to the twelve months in the previous year.
