Aravind KP will Participate in 2017 Dakar Rally for the TVS Racing Team

Aravind KP is certainly one of the most talented two wheeler racing rider in India. He will be taking part in the famous Dakar Rally next year for the team ‘Shero-RVS Rally Factory’. The famous Indian rider has been a part of the TVS Racing team for last ten years, but this is going to be his first attempt in the infamous cross country rally which is considered as the toughest of the world.

The Indian rider will be partnering with Spanish champion rider Juan Pedrero for the Dakar Rally 2017. Along with them there will be a third rider, who is supposed to be an European rider. The ‘Shero-RVS Rally Factory’ team has been taking part in the Dakar Rally for last for last two years, and next year at the 39th edition of the rally it will be the team’s third time. The rally will be conducted from 2nd January, 2017 to 14th January, 2017. This time the rally will run through the Latin American countries like Paraguay, Argentina and Bolivia covering around 9000 kilometers.

Talking about his upcoming participation Aravind KP was pretty excited. He thanked the TVS Racing for selecting him to race in the Dakar Rally 2017 for the team. He also said that he has already begun training for the Dakar Rally 2017. Aravind started racing at an age of 19 way back in 2005. In 2006 he tied up with the TVS Racing after the Gulf Dirt Track National Championship. Since then he has won 15 national championships on the dirt track, rallies and motocross champions. He also became the first Indian winner of an overseas motocross championship in Sri Lanka in 2011.

TVS Racing team’s head Arvind Pangaonkar was saying why the team chose Aravind KP for the Dakar Rally 2017. He believes Aravind KP’s riding experience, skill and performance record make him a natural selection for the Dakar Rally participation.
